The research “Economic empowerment of women in Bolivia. Between the ideal of job stability and the dream of own business” , has as a general objective to analyze the ways in which external restrictions (present in the employment market or in policies) they interact with personal and subjective dimensions (intrinsic restrictions) to determine the type of employment to which women have access. To achieve this objective, in-depth interviews are used with formal and informal salaried women and self-employed workers, as well as a focus group.
