Diego Andrés Peñaranda Molina

Research Intern

Diego graduated with Honors from the Economics career of the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo” (UCB), an institution from which he obtained the “Bachiller de Excelencia Scholarship” that covered the total cost of his studies. He is currently a student of a Master’s Degree in Economics at the Bolivian Private University (UPB), the cost of which is fully covered by the “BeKAS – Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation” scholarship.
He has experience as a research assistant at the Institute for Socioeconomic Research (IISEC-UCB), where he was a Hanns Seidel Foundation fellow. In this position, he worked on issues of economic development, public policies and institutions. Subsequently, he was a paid intern for six months in the Politics, Press and Information section of the Delegation of the European Union in Bolivia (EU).

Areas of interest:
Economic development, applied macroeconometrics and international trade.
