Carola has a degree in Economics from the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo” (UCB). He completed postgraduate studies in Belgium where he obtained a Master of Science in Management Science (International Business) at the Free University of Brussels (Vrije universityit Brussels). Teaching Researcher at the Socio-Economic Research Institute (IISEC) of the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo”.

Areas of interest:
Environmental economics, economic growth, economics of education, applied econometrics, impact evaluation, survey design, industrial organization, poverty and well-being, and project management.
