In recent years, in the academic and business sectors, the need for human talent capable of processing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative information for decision-making, impact assessments, research or process optimization has become increasingly relevant. . In this area, Stata emerges as an easy-to-use and very powerful tool for database management and statistical analysis.

Stata is software capable of handling these large amounts of information, using less computing resources than traditional spreadsheets, and also presenting accurate and reliable results. In addition, it has a series of commands, designed to apply complex formulas at once, which show us a complete analysis of certain variables without having to write too much.
In this course, you’ll receive a comprehensive introduction to Stata and its many uses in modern data analysis. The various options for handling, exploring, visualizing, and modeling complex types of data will be discussed. By the end of the course, you will have the ability to interact with Stata and handle complex data analysis. The focus of each session will be to consistently emphasize the practical application, and interpretation, of commonly used statistical techniques without resorting to deep statistical equations or theory.

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this course is for the student to develop skills in handling Stata software , both for database management and analysis work, as well as statistical and econometric applications, leading them to later have the ability to reproduce more advanced applications. complex and thereby carry out applied research.

REQUIREMENTS
• No knowledge of Stata is required .
• A minimum knowledge of statistics is preferable, but not necessary.
• Computer with Windows, MAC or Linux operating system.
• Have Stata 12 or more current version installed.
