This work “Role of evidence in the public policy process: The Bolivian case”, tries to understand the public policy process in Bolivia in the first place in relation to its dynamics, that is, in terms of the stages that constitute it, the actors involved, the role of the context and the level of institutionalization. Secondly, it is about seeing what role the resulting research evidence plays within this process; this in terms of the practice in the use of evidence, the capacities that the actors have for its use, the demand and supply of evidence and finally its quality.
