Among the working documents, developed by researchers from the Aru Foundation, this time the document entitled "Gender, unemployment and short-term transitions in the urban labor market in Bolivia, 2015-2017" is presented. From a short-term perspective, the document uses the continuous employment surveys (ECE) available between 2015 and 2017 to describe the dynamics of participation in the labor market and in the structure of employment with the help of decomposition methods, while also estimates the differences in the duration of unemployment based on risk models. The evidence presented in the study updates a look at gender inequalities in urban labor markets in Bolivia and suggests routes for debate.
