Research agendas and strategies

The objectives and activities performed are framed in own social area topics, among which are:

  • Childhood and adolescence
  • Human smuggling and trafficking
  • Migration
The Aru Foundation's research agendas can be grouped into four blocks:

  • Development agenda: This agenda is focused on monitoring and generating evidence on poverty, inequality, labor market, human capital, well-being. This agenda has been developed with the support of: Oxfam in Bolivia, COSUDE.
  • Protection agenda: This research agenda covers issues related to children and adolescents, gender, nutrition, human smuggling and trafficking, violence, migration, among others. This agenda has been developed with the support of: UNICEF, IOM, SWISSCONTACT.
  • Rural Development Agenda: This agenda discusses issues such as empowerment of women, estimation of productivity and rural labor. This agenda has been developed with the support of: SWISSCONTACT.
  • Political economy agedna and Think Tanks: This agenda discusses the role and impact of research centers Think Tank in society and public policy. This agenda has been developed with the support of: INGSA.
